Amy is a creator/ streamer/ host/
entrepreneur/ from Wellington,
I graduated with a Bachelor of Design in Visual Communication in 2010 from Massey University. Having worked in both agency and
in-house design teams for a few years, I recognised that freelance was more suited to my pace of working, and founded my own creative studio – HelloMissPotter – in 2009. In early 2014 I became a full-time freelance Creative Director.
Learning the word ‘entrepreneur’ in late 2014, I co-founded Leaping Tiger with Jordan Lilley, and have considered myself a Creative Entrepreneur ever since. I am now working full-time as Chief Operating Officer of Leaping Tiger, finding myself wearing many hats—most often designer, product owner, brand manager and marketer.
An eighties baby and a nineties kid at heart, I am most in my element when surrounded by games, art and technology. Since founding Leaping Tiger I have been a member of numerous startup and tech panels, and often speak about design and startup life at local meet-ups. Additionally, I co-host a gaming entertainment livestream show over on Twitch and create videos on YouTube.
I am a self-confessed social media addict; you can usually find me spending way too much time on Twitter! Let's chat.
